April 3-19 Easter Bunny Photos at 5th Ave Mall
Bring your little bunnies in for photos with our Easter Bunny. 11 am-8 pm, Monday-Thursday; 10 am-8 pm, Friday and Saturday; and 12-6 pm, Sunday at the Anchorage 5th Ave. Mall. For info, call 258-4003.

April 4-19 Dimond Center Easter Bunny & Easter Village

April 5 Alaska Railroad Easter Train
Treat the whole family to a Sweet Ride aboard the Alaska Railroad Easter Train where you'll get a visit from the Easter Bunny, a magician, and sweet treats for the kids. This train departs from the Historic Anchorage Downtown Depot and travels along the Coastal Trail and down the Turnagain Arm to Indian before retracing its steps back to Anchorage. April 12 Eggstravaganza
Watch out for bouncing bunnies as you join in on some spring-themed arts and crafts, outdoor games, and an egg hunt. Ages 3-12 yrs. April 14-19 Eggciting Eggstravaganza
The dinosaurs at the Museum have been hiding their eggs in the strangest places. Can you help us find them? Hop through the Museum and participate in a Puffin Egg Roll, Dino Egg Hunt, and more. April 18-20 Easter Egg Hunt at The Learning Farm!
Feed the pig, sheep and mini goats. Pet a bunny and chicken. Ride a horse and brush a pony. Easter baskets provided. Noncompetitive egg hunt. Play a game and make a craft. April 19 Dimond Center Easter Egg Hunt
Space is limited and registration will start on April 4th. With the sign up parents can enter for a drawing for many prizes, including Easter baskets from Rocky Mountain Chocolate Facotry, Auntie Anne's Home Pretzel Kit, a Dimond Center Gift Card and gifts from Charley´s, Mrs. Fields and many more! There will be 2 seesions: 12pm and 1pm. Cost: $5 or 2 cans of food per child. All donations go to the Food Bank of Alaska. April 6 Natural Easter Egg Dying & Decorating
Brightly colored Easter eggs bring cheer to the slush and grayness of spring in Alaska. Join us as we explore the ancient custom of decorating Easter eggs. Asta Spurgis will share techniques for using melted beeswax to create unique designs. Laura Kruger and Ginamaria Smith will demonstrate how natural ingredients commonly found in your kitchen can offer an endless spectrum of hues for dyeing eggs. All materials provided except for hard-boiled eggs: bring 2-4 per person. 2 pm at the Eagle River Nature Center. Free, but limited to 15 people (ages 13 and up). To register, call 694-2108.

April 20 Eagle River Community Easter Egg Hunt
The egg hunt will be broken up into four age groups: 1-3, 4-6, 7-9 and 10-12. While most eggs are filled with candy, two lucky children in each age group will win a prize. Ages 0-3 will receive a tricycle, ages 4-6 a bike, and 9-12 gift cards. Egg hunt begins at 1 pm at the Eagle River Lions Park. This annual hunt is a combined effort of the Chugiak Lions, Sleeping Lady Mountain Lions, Eagle River Lions Club, VFW Post 9785, Eagle River Elks Lodge, Eagle River Boys & Girls Club, Bear Mountain Leos and Anchorage Fire Department Station 11, which sounds a horn to signal the start of the hunt. April 20 Easter at Alyeska
Join us on Easter Sunday for a sunrise service at the top of the Tram. Tram upload begins at 6:30-7:30 am. The Tram ride to the service is free. The Sunrise Service at Glacier Express will be from 8-8:30 am. Download the Tram from 8:30-9:30 am. The Easter egg hunt will start at 9:45 am. Meet at the Pond Courtyard outside the Tramway Cafe. April 19 5th Annual Run for Relief & EGG Hunt
Find eggs along the route and bring as many as you can carry to the finish; no baskets, bags, boxes or carrying containers will be allowed. (to ensure there are enough eggs for everyone) Find the Golden egg to win a big prize! Tie dye your shirt at the finish. Other post race activities include a photo booth, Easter Bunny appearance and massage services by Rest & Revive Message Therapy. Race is $20 per person. Children 5 and under are free.
