Alaska Dance Theatre Summer Program
Alaska Dance Theatre (ADT) offers fun-filled summer daytime programming for both young children ages 4-6 and youth ages 7-12. Visit our website for information about each session.
ADT holds 6 dance "camps" for kids ages 4-6 throughout June and July. Hours are Monday-Thursday from 9 am-noon. Themes for these wildly popular camps range from Rainbow Unicorn and Mermaid Sparkle to Jungle Safari! Every camp includes creative movement, activities, crafts, snack time, and a performance for family and friends on the last day!
ADT holds 5 full-day dance experiences for youth ages 7-12 throughout June and July. Hours are Monday-Friday from 9 am-5 pm. ADT has something for everyone from our Acro Dance and Climbing Intensive to our Rock Star Royalty Dance Party. Every day includes a variety of dance styles, fun activities, and crafts. Some sessions include time at the Alaska Rock Gym. Every experience ends with a performance on Friday!

Camp K
Get away! Alaska’s longest-running, all-gendered overnight camp is nestled along the shores of Kenai Lake in Cooper Landing, a two-hour bus ride from Anchorage. Just a stone’s throw from main camp, and your own cabin is on a half-mile long beach with access to hiking trails, boating activities, large fields for outdoor games, an art building, as well as river rafting and horseback riding nearby. This 160-acre campus within the Chugach National Forest is “wild Alaska” with everyday opportunities to be off the grid, experience wildlife, and take in the epic beauty right outside your cabin door.

Summer Adventure
Discover fun! Our most flexible and accessible licensed program runs all day (7 am-5:30 pm) at three elementary schools – South Anchorage, Downtown and in Eagle River. Your child can join us for a day, a week (most popular) or the whole summer! Each day features a variety of hands-on activities including sports, arts and crafts, cooking, science, and community involvement. Field trips, theme weeks, surprise guests and more are all included. If you want your child to get outside, learn new skills, make new friends, play hard and have quiet time, then this is the camp for you. Minecraft Artemis Mission to the Moon - Overnight Camp
Join us for an extraordinary 5-day journey to the moon in collaboration with Minecraft Education, the Challenger Learning Center of Alaska (CLCA), and NASA! Students will dive into the science and technology behind NASA’s Artemis mission, guided by expert STEM educators and NASA astronauts. LEGO: Build To Launch, Summer STEM Academy
Discover the excitement of space exploration in this 5-day NASA and LEGO collaboration! Wilderness Skills, Summer STEM Academy
Embark on a 5-day adventure to master essential survival skills! Enjoy arts and crafts, nature hikes, environmental education, swimming, canoeing or kayaking, outdoor cooking, and campfires. Campers will sleep in platform tents bringing the outdoors within reach and have a sense of independence and have fun.

Trailside Discovery Camp is an award-winning camp program in Alaska that provides a broad range of outdoor environmental education experiences for students ages 4 to 14 from all economic, social, and cultural backgrounds.
What to expect at camp in 2025:
• Age-appropriate activities tailored to each session, from nature walks to arts and crafts and lively camp songs.
• Full-day activities for all campers, including hands-on learning about the environment and world around them through outdoor exploration.
• Campers ages 4-5 will enjoy walks to nearby activities and will not be transported in TDC vehicles.
• At least one or more field trips per week for campers ages 8-10 and 10+, and occasional opportunities for 6–7-year-olds (parents must provide booster seats).

The UAA Summer Engineering Academies are a series of week-long, hands-on educational day camps in Anchorage and the Mat-Su Valley. Each academy is designed to encourage interest in and provide exposure to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Each week explores a different topic, including robotics, computer programming, structures, and other engineering fundamentals. Each session is designed to be fun and educational, with ample support provided by the College of Engineering's faculty and staff. On average, there are 7 students per staff member, allowing for a great deal of one-on-one and small-group support. Above all, the academies prioritize learning, fun, and safety.

Youth 360 Summer Day Camps
10 weeks of fun activities and connection opportunities for Mat-Su youth! Youth 360's summer programs feature field trips, sports and games, fishing, fitness classes, kayaking, cooking, arts and crafts, cultural activities and much more. Daily attendance is not required, and students can attend on any schedule. We have locations in Houston and Wasilla, with transportation and food included.
